M.I.A bracht vlak voor de jaarwisseling haar nieuwe mixtape ‘Bells Collection’. De tape bevat 16 tracks, waaronder ‘Never Alone’, ‘Bella Hadid’ en ‘Solitude’.
Op de mixtape zijn vooral MIA’s writing skills te horen. Aan de productieskills ligt het ook niet: die zijn in handen van bijvoorbeeld Skrillex en Cadenza.
De mixtape is niet te beluisteren op streamingplatforms als Apple Music en Spotify, maar alleen via haar eigen website ohmni.com.
“I present you a gift from the East, star of wonder star of night. Beauty. Bright. Sacred. Cosmic. Magnetism,” schreef M.I.A in het persbericht rond de release. “A collaboration with God.
